The purpose of the site is to raise money through donations to buy LeBron a "New York gift basket (his own suite at Yankee Stadium, additional salary, Gloria James courtside seats, Ferrari, etc.)." They also sell t-shirts that claim they need a "Guard" (although Lebron is a Forward), and in an amazing moment of entitlement bordering on self parody, they claim that bringing Lebron James to the NY Knicks is "the change we DESERVE."

Taking this as a challenge to the honor and pride of Cleveland, Akron, the state of Ohio and The Cleveland Cavaliers, we picked up the gauntlet they threw down and decided to create Cleveland4Lebron.com. Not to raise money to buy Lebron a Ferrari (I doubt he needs one, his Bentley with KNG OF OHIO plates seems to get him around), but to showcase just how much Lebron James is a product and a part of this area and the people in it. We've created a virtual wall for the people of Ohio to leave their own personal messages about King James, and to show the genuine midwestern love and appreciation that can't be rivaled by any other city.

We're certain that during Lebron's tenure as a Cavalier in Cleveland, no TMZ reporters will ever come after him in a men's room stall with their cellphone cameras, or pick through his garbage.

So – if you've got a message for Lebron, get your cameras out and add your voice to the many fans of Lebron James and Cleveland, Ohio!
